While standard glass teaware is often fragile, ours is classified as cooking-grade. It is robust enough to be used directly on an electric stovetop, offering utility that far exceeds traditional glass alternatives.

Thick Glass

While mass-market options typically feature a flimsy 1mm wall thickness, our gaiwan is constructed with near 3mm glass. This added mass does more than provide a premium, weighted feel in the hand; it offers improved heat retention and durability. As a result, it’s suitable for preparing any kind of tea, including oolong and pu erh tea.
