A fine white Ru kiln tea cup with cute and elegant illustrations for a delightful cup of tea. Choose between a playful cat, a beautiful persimmon tree branch, and a lovely bird singing on a tree branch.
Crackle glaze
This cup is finished with an intentionally crackled glaze. Such a pattern is also known as ‘crazing’ and is caused by a thermal expansion mismatch. In simple terms, when the cup cools, the glaze shrinks more than the body, and as a result, it cracks.
