The sharp toothed oroshigane grater, doesn’t ‘slice’ like a microplane but scratches the product that’s grated on its surface. This makes for more aroma when grating citrus, but also smoother pastes when grating ginger, daikon or wasabi. A coarse oroshigane grater can even grate a nice aged parmesan to a pleasant powdery texture. This single sided, slightly coarse oroshigane grater has a grinding surface that measures 105 x 102 x 98 mm
