The nakiri knife, with its straight-edged blade, has long been valued in Japanese kitchens for vegetable preparation. Developed centuries ago, it aligns with Japan’s refined techniques for handling produce. Its unique design allows clean, even cuts, making it a go-to for chefs and home cooks alike.
These blades are crafted from high-performance SLD steel, offering excellent edge retention and durability. The black finish on the knives is complemented by handles made from burnt chestnut, accented with buffalo horn ferrules, combining both tradition and sophistication for a unique and balanced feel in hand.
