The vessel’s form is defined by an elegant bamboo motif, with the spout, knob, and handle sculpted to mimic natural elements. The Artist
Yuhua Bao, born in May 1965 in Yixing City, is a fifth-generation ceramic artist from the renowned “Bao Shengtai” legacy. Growing up in a purple clay culture, she studied under Li Bifang and later joined the Painted Pottery Factory, where she trained with master Qiu Yulin. After graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1993, she became a “National Assistant Craft Artist” in 1996 and earned the prestigious title of “National Craft Artist” in 2012. Her teapot creations showcase a unique artistic character, blending tradition with art.
